This is our … **The Opportunity:** We are looking for a Principal Data Scientist to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-impact, strategic data science projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and develop innovative solutions using advanced analytical techniques. You will also mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. **Responsibilities:** * Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex data science projects, from problem definition to solution deployment. * Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. * Design, develop, and implement advanced analytical models using a variety of machine learning and statistical techniques. * Conduct data exploration, data cleaning, and feature engineering to prepare data for modeling. * Evaluate model performance and iterate on models to improve accuracy and business impact. * Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Mentor and guide junior data scientists, providing technical expertise and support. * Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning. * Contribute to the development of new data science methodologies and best practices. * Participate in pre-sales activities, such as proposal development and client presentations. **Qualifications:** * Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. * Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. * Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience in the retail & CPG industry is a plus. * Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive health insurance * Paid time off * Professional development opportunities * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects * Opportunity for career growth and advancement **About Tiger Analytics** Tiger Analytics is a leading data analytics and AI consulting firm.
