Principal Data Scientist (m/f/d)

We are looking for you immediately at one of our German locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Leipzig, Berlin, Frankfurt am Main or Essen !

Your Tasks

Data and AI are your domain? Furthermore, your new challenge will be shaped as follows:

• You will purposefully design and lead challenging Data Science projects in an interdisciplinary team
• You will routinely identify your client's needs and develop effective, data-driven solutions
• You will extract the data crucial for the task from your client's datasets
• You will create innovative solutions using modern methods from the fields of statistics, machine learning, mathematical optimization, and visual analytics
• Close collaboration with your Tribe Lead (Manager)
• You will successfully communicate your results to your client and subsequently accompany the comprehensive implementation of your idea together with the Data Engineering team
• As an expert with specialized knowledge, you will participate in client meetings

Your Profile

Is Data also in your DNA? This is what you should bring:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a data-driven degree program
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts understandably, as well as out-of-the-box thinking
• High commitment to continuous learning and trying out new tools and technologies.
• At least 5 years of project experience in the Data field, ideally in a consulting company
• At least 3 years of practical experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
• Very good knowledge of software development (Python, object-oriented)
• Practical experience in Data Science areas such as LLMs/NLP (e.g., Transformers, Conversational AI) or Computer Vision (e.g., Stable Diffusion, OCR)
