As Principal Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of large-scale data engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data architectures, and ensuring the highest level of data quality and integrity. You will also be expected to mentor junior engineers, contribute to the development of best practices and standards, and participate in the definition of technical roadmaps. Responsibilities: • Lead the development of large-scale data engineering projects from concept to delivery, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data architectures, • Ensure the highest level of data quality and integrity, • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices and standards, • Participate in the definition of technical roadmaps. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, • 8+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on large-scale data processing and analytics, • Strong understanding of distributed computing systems, big data technologies, and cloud-based architectures, • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools, • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance regulations, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
