To optimally leverage our clients' potential and further develop our SAP consulting portfolio, we are looking for a Principal Consultant SAP FI/CO (m/f/d) who combines comprehensive SAP expertise with strategic thinking, strong customer orientation, and a high degree of personal responsibility.

As a Principal Consultant, you will take on a central role in demanding SAP transformation and S/4HANA projects. You will advise our clients on both functional and strategic levels, develop future-proof solution concepts, and take responsibility for their successful implementation. At the same time, you will actively contribute your experience to the further development of our team and our SAP Finance consulting portfolio.

Tasks

• You will take on functional responsibility in demanding SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA projects, from analysis and conception to successful implementation.
• You will advise our clients strategically and functionally on optimizing and digitizing their Finance and Controlling processes.
• You will design holistic SAP solution architectures and develop sustainable solution concepts, taking into account existing system landscapes and business requirements.
• You will independently manage complex workstreams and take on a leading role at the interface between business departments, IT, and project management.
• You will support S/4HANA transformations and migrations and contribute your experience to shaping future Finance processes.
• You will act as the functional point of contact for our clients and build long-term, trusting customer relationships.
• You will support presales activities, workshops, proposals, and the development of new consulting approaches and business opportunities.
• You will provide functional mentoring for Consultants and Senior Consultants, supporting them in their professional and personal development.
• You will work closely with our national and international teams, actively bringing best practices and new SAP technologies into our projects.
• As part of our Enterprise Operations team, you will actively contribute to the further development of our SAP FI/CO portfolio and our consulting services.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of in-depth professional experience in SAP Consulting with a focus on SAP FI and/or CO.
• In-depth knowledge of financial and controlling-related business processes and their representation in SAP.
• Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA and ideally several implementation, transformation, or migration projects.
• Experience in the functional leadership of project teams or workstreams, as well as in managing complex customer requirements.
• Strong ability to analyze complex functional and technical contexts and develop sustainable solution concepts from them.
• Confident demeanor at customer and management level, as well as strong consulting and communication skills.
• Experience in presales, proposal preparation, or business development is an advantage.
• Enjoy sharing knowledge and providing functional support to less experienced colleagues.
• Fluent German and very good English skills.
• Structured and self-driven working style, as well as strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• Flexibility, willingness to travel, and a high degree of customer and results orientation round off your profile.
