Job Description The Principal AI Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of AI/ML solutions to enhance the security posture of Palo Alto Networks products. This role requires a strong technical background in AI/ML, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and algorithms. Identify and evaluate new AI/ML technologies and tools. Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into products. Conduct research and experimentation to improve the performance and accuracy of AI/ML models. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML. Mentor and guide junior engineers. Contribute to the development of the AI/ML strategy for Palo Alto Networks. Qualifications PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in AI/ML. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and natural language processing. Experience with programming languages such as Python and Java. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with cybersecurity is a plus.
