Salary: £85 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join welcoming and inclusive schools in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping pupils thrive academically and socially in a supportive classroom environment.
As a Primary TA, you will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support to pupils, ensuring they are engaged, confident, and making progress in their learning. Your role will be key in maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere across the classroom.
Key Duties of a Primary TA:

• Support the delivery of lessons and learning activities across KS1 and KS2.
• Work with pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
• Assist with classroom organisation and preparation.
• Encourage pupil participation and engagement.
• Help maintain a focused and respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress.
• Take part in school events and enrichment activities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable.
• CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
• A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is beneficial.
• Positive, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to contribute to a dynamic and evolving school environment.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
