Job Title: Classroom Teacher - Part-Time (0.9 FTE)

Location: Stockbridge Village, Merseyside
Start Date: 5th January 2026
Contract Type: Temporary, Fixed-Term until 31st August 2026
Key Stage: Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 (depending on placement)
Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum (M1-M6, dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Classroom Teacher to join a friendly and professional team on a temporary, part-time basis from 5th January 2026. This role is ideal for a dedicated practitioner who wants to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful Classroom Teacher will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective teaching.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor pupil progress and inform planning.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment that fosters respect, independence, and curiosity.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life, including enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and teamworking skills.
  • A reflective and forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and raising achievement for all pupils.
  • High expectations for pupil behaviour, effort, and outcomes.
