Primary Teacher

EduTalent Group are working with a fantastic Primary School in Tunbridge Wells who are seeking a Classroom Teacher for a January start. This post will run from January to July with the option to move into a permanent role. You will be paid to scale from day one, and the class is supported by two teaching assistants.

Job Description
The school is looking for a committed and reflective teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain strong classroom routines and support pupils to make steady progress. You will plan sequences of learning with clear objectives, use assessment to guide next steps, and create a positive environment that promotes independence and confidence. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and make effective use of the two class TAs to enhance provision. Duties include planning, teaching, assessment, behaviour management, reporting to parents and contributing to year group and whole school development.

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience teaching in a primary setting
• Strong ability to plan organised, purposeful and motivating lessons
• Confident use of assessment to track progress and refine teaching
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Able to work well with teaching assistants and wider staff teams
• Confident using ICT to support learning and record keeping
• Understanding of safeguarding, inclusion and positive behaviour practice
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
