Primary School Assistant Teacher
The German European School Singapore (GESS) is inviting expressions of interest for an experienced Primary School Assistant Teacher for Grades 1–5.Responsibilities

• Assist teaching in primary classrooms:
• Supervising and teaching small groups within a whole class or small group setting
• Helping to prepare lesson materials
• Filing and organising student work and resources
• Supervising students during lunchtimes and breaktimes
• Assisting lessons in art, physical education or other subjects, as needed

Requirements

• Must be proficient in English spoken and written language, classes will be conducted in English
• Fluency in other languages a plus as you will be communicating with colleagues and students who speak various languages
• Tertiary education qualifications a plus
• Experience working with children aged 5 to 11
• Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
• Flexibility, organisation skills and a caring attitude
