Preventive Calculator Technician

Gi Group SA For our esteemed client operating in the Canton Ticino, we are seeking a Preventive Calculator Technician. Main responsibilities: - Prepare and draft detailed estimates for construction projects - Analyze specifications and technical details to write bids - Manage the tender office, coordinating all activities related to participating in tenders - Evaluate costs of materials, labor, and equipment necessary for projects - Collaborate with the design team to optimize costs and project timelines - Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with bid submission terms - Maintain updated databases of suppliers and market prices - Provide technical support during negotiations and contract revisions. Requirements: - Proven experience as a calculator in the construction industry - In-depth knowledge of regulations and tender procedures - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Good organizational and time management skills - Competence in using software for drafting estimates and managing tenders - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Degree in engineering, architecture or related field preferred.
