Introduction:

Are you an experienced (paro) prevention assistant with at least 2 years of experience? Or are you a prevention assistant and want to grow into a paro prevention assistant? At Dental Center Weesp, we offer you the opportunity to develop your expertise further and manage your own patient portfolio independently.

Your responsibilities:

• Performing preventive and paro-preventive treatments
• Bonding and guiding a personal patient portfolio
• Taking and controlling medical anamneses
• Performing plaque color tests and recording oral health conditions
• Removing tooth tartar and plaque supragingivally
• Polishing dental elements
• Taking pocket status readings and providing aftercare to paro patients
• Giving guidance and instruction on oral hygiene and dental care

About the work environment:

Dental Center Weesp is a modern practice with 7 treatment rooms. The team consists of 3 dentists and an enthusiastic group of hygienists, prevention assistants, and receptionists. Within the practice, high-quality care is central, and we work with dedication and love for the profession. Together with our patients, we proactively work towards healthy mouths. The practice is affiliated with De Tandartsengroep, an initiative by dentists for dentists.

We are looking for a:

• Prevention assistant with at least 2 years of experience as (paro) prevention assistant or ambition to grow from prevention to paro prevention assistant
• Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing
• Representative and patient-oriented attitude
• Strong communication skills and flexibility
• The ambition to further develop yourself within oral care
