Prevention Advisor Level II
Job description
As a Prevention Advisor, you are the primary point of contact for everything related to safety, health, and environment within two West Flanders locations. You combine analysis with action and are regularly in contact with people in the workshop and on site. Specifically, this means:
- Coordinating between the external prevention service, management, and employees.
- Following up on and implementing the Global Action Plan and Annual Action Plan.
- Drawing up, updating, and applying procedures, risk analyses, instructions, and monthly reports.
- Detecting risks in production and on sites, conducting measurements, and developing solutions together with project management and purchasing.
- Organizing toolbox talks and training sessions that are relevant to the reality on the floor.
- Analyzing incidents and accidents and translating them into preventive measures.
- Ensuring compliance with legal obligations and periodic inspections.
You don't work remotely: as a safety advisor or HSE advisor, you are visibly present and take responsibility until the issue is resolved.
Profile
What is really needed here:
- A higher technical education, supplemented with a Level 2 Prevention Advisor diploma (minimum).
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical production environment such as prefab, concrete, reinforcement, or construction-related industry.
- Fluent Dutch; French is a plus.
You fit in here because you:
- Think practically: you see a problem, discuss it with the right people, and turn it into feasible actions.
- Communicate clearly: you explain safety measures in a way that employees understand and follow.
- Are steadfast: you dare to defend choices towards production and management when safety requires it.

- Flexible working hours between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM.
- Home working is not possible for this role.
- Modern workplace in Wielsbeke.
- Bicycle lease and bicycle allowance.
- Team-building events before the Christmas and summer holidays and nice extras to strengthen the work atmosphere, such as a gift voucher on your birthday.
- A full-time role with impact, variety, and room to implement your own ideas.
Organization
You will join a stable, growing player in prefab concrete solutions for infrastructure, industry, and agriculture. Quality, sustainability, and responsibility are central, with investments in renewable energy and recycling. The organization is people-oriented, with short decision-making lines and a culture where initiative is valued. You work from a modern office environment and are in direct contact with production and management.
