Aufgaben

• Joint construction of a press team.
• Development and implementation of a communication strategy to present the goals and activities of the Federal Consumer Association in the public sphere.
• Writing and editing of press releases, newsletters, blog posts and other communication materials.
• BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE OF RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES AND OTHER RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS.
• Monitoring of media reports and trends relevant to the work of the Federal Consumer Association.
• Organization and accompaniment of press conferences and other media events.
• Answering press questions and representing the Federal Consumer Association in interviews and discussion rounds.

Qualifikation

• Degree or training in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field of advantage.
• Experience in public relations or journalism, ideally with reference to consumer protection or similar topics.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German.
• Able to prepare complex issues clearly and target-group-oriented.
• High degree of self-reliance, organizational ability and flexibility.
• Teamwork and willingness to stand up for the rights of consumers.
