Aufgaben
- Jointly building a press team.
- Development and implementation of a communication strategy to present the goals and activities of the Federal Consumer Protection Association in the public.
- Writing and editing press releases, newsletters, blog posts and other communication materials.
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES AND OTHER RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS.
- Monitoring media reports and trends that are relevant to the work of the Federal Consumer Protection Association.
- Organizing and accompanying press conferences and other media events.
- Answering press inquiries and representing the Federal Consumer Protection Association in interviews and discussion rounds.
Qualifikation
- Degree or training in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field is advantageous.
- Experience in public relations or journalism, preferably with reference to consumer protection or similar topics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German.
- Able to prepare complex issues clearly and target-group-oriented.
- High degree of self-reliance, organizational ability and flexibility.
- Teamwork and willingness to advocate for the rights of consumers.
