To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Specialist Druckvorstufe & Repro with profound expertise in printing technology. In this role, you will support our quality control as well as the technical leadership of our print data and ensure that our print data is technically secure, clean, and efficient in production.

Aufgaben

Druckdatenprüfung & Qualitätssicherung:

You will ensure that our print data is technically flawless and production-ready.

• Verification and approval of print data according to printing requirements and customer specifications
• Control of color profiles, separations, overprints, special colors, and technical specifications
• Support for quality control in evaluating and optimizing print data

Druckvorstufe & Repro:

You will actively bring your expertise into our technical processes.

• Application and further development of workflows in the area of pre-press and repro
• Color management and technical adjustments within GMG Open Color
• Application of Esko Deskpack and other relevant tools
• Technical consulting for internal teams on complex printing and production requirements

Abstimmung mit Druckereien & Produktionspartnern:

You will be the central interface between agency, print shop, and internal teams.

• Communication with print shops and production partners
• Clearing up technical questions and specifications
• Evaluation of printing results and derivation of optimization measures

Andruckbegleitung:

If necessary, you will accompany reprints and ensure a safe implementation.

• Accompaniment and evaluation of reprints
• Safety assurance for the correct technical implementation in the printing process

Wissensmanagement & Standardisierung:

You will help build knowledge within the company and make it permanently available.

• Maintenance and further development of internal wikis, guidelines, and best practices
• Building standards for technical production data and printing processes
• Support for training internal teams in printing-related topics

Qualifikation

• Degree in Media Design, Printing Technology or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of professional experience in pre-press, repro or packaging production
• Very profound knowledge of printing processes (Flexo, Offset)
• Very good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Very good knowledge of Esko Deskpack
• Experience with GMG Open Color or comparable color management systems
• High technical precision and a strong sense of quality awareness
• Structured and self-responsible working style
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance towards print shops and technical partners
• Team orientation and solution-oriented thinking
