For an exciting infrastructure project in East Flanders (R4WO), we are looking for a preparation specialist with the right knowledge and aptitude to take on this technically complex project. The project will contain bridges and tunnels that will lead to efficiency and safety of road users and neighborhood residents.

Your function

During the preparation phase and during the execution of the works, you support the project leader in the following matters:

• You check, test, and adjust drawings from subcontractors and suppliers;
• You determine and work out the most effective working methods;
• You calculate and take care of orders and procurement of materials. You negotiate prices with representatives and subcontractors;
• You set up the project schedule and monitors the execution of the partial schedules;
• You follow the progress of the construction works and the related cost statement;
• You keep administrative records of the construction project;
• You maintain contacts with the executing team on site;
• You are the link between external contacts and the executing team on site.
