Our client based in Compans (77290) is looking for an order picker (M/F) to complete its team for a temporary mission that could be long-term. Under the responsibility of the logistics team leader, your main mission is to ensure the shipment of products to our customers. The core of your job relies on mastering the picking technique. Your daily tasks: - Picking: Using a mobile terminal (scanner) or an order form, you pick items from storage racks with precision and speed. - Consolidating loads: You assemble packages on pallets, ensuring the balance and stability of the load (building in "walls"). - Quality control: You check product conformity (references, expiry dates, visual appearance) during picking. - Packaging: You ensure pallet wrapping and labeling to guarantee error-free shipping. - Hygiene and Safety: You maintain your workspace clean and strictly follow the safety instructions related to the warehouse. You are a dynamic, rigorous person and you enjoy teamwork. - Experience: Previous experience in logistics, ideally in the agri-food sector, is an asset. - Mastery of Picking: You are comfortable using scanners and know how to optimize your movements to combine productivity and precision. - Attitude: Punctuality, organizational skills, and attention to detail (zero preparation errors).
