Your area of responsibility: Production of flat and spherical surfaces (lenses, windows, and prisms) through classical polishing on semi-finished products made from optical materials or foreign materials for infrared optics
Setting up and calibrating machines as Precision Optician (m/w/d)
Operating machines and equipment at the Jena location
Reading technical drawings
The skills you bring: Completed vocational training as Precision Optician (m/w/d)
Basic knowledge in machine setup
First work experience in the production department
A reliable, structured, and independent working style
Readiness to work in a 3-shift system and occasionally on weekends
Good connection to public transportation in Jena
