This position plays an important role in supporting safe, secure, and efficient airport operations by combining frontline customer service with pre-flight security responsibilities. The successful candidate will assist passengers, monitor access to restricted areas, carry out security checks on aircraft and cargo, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth travel experience for all passengers. Key responsibilities include: • Providing exceptional customer service to passengers, responding promptly to their queries and concerns. • Conducting pre-flight security checks on aircraft and cargo, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. • Monitoring access to restricted areas, including airside and landside zones, to prevent unauthorized entry. • Assisting in the implementation of airport security protocols and procedures. • Maintaining accurate records and reports of security incidents and near-misses. • Participating in regular training and drills to stay up-to-date with changing security requirements and best practices. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary qualification desirable. • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the aviation industry. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. • Willingness to undergo training and certification programs as required by airport security regulations.
