Internship Social Media (m/f/d)

You live Social Media 24/7? You always know the hottest trends, understand exactly why they perform, and are eager to implement them quickly? Then read on.

What it's about:
We are growing our channels from 350,000 to 1 million followers, primarily with Short Videos, a real community, and content for our new brand orientation.

Your Mission:
With us, you won't just continue a finished editorial plan. You will build the new content playbook for Störtebekker with us, test your own formats, implement them yourself, and decide based on data what stays and what we further develop.

Tasks

• Trend Radar: You keep an eye on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, recognize relevant trends and formats, and bring concrete ideas for Störtebekker every week.
• Content: You develop ideas and scripts for Short Videos and bring your own formats live with us, from the initial idea to the finished post.
• Pulse of the Community: You are close to our target audience, support in community management, and strike the right tone with humor and attitude.
• Role Models & Competition: You look at what successful brands are doing and derive what works for us from it.
• Growth & Analytics: Every week you evaluate which content performs, recognize patterns, and derive the next tests from it.
• Teamwork: You work closely with our Community Management, our video agency, and our graphic designers.

Your Goals

• In the first 4 weeks: You know our brand, our channels, and our target audience, and you contribute your first trend ideas.
• By the end of your internship: You have tested and launched your own formats, know which ones work and why, and have measurably contributed to more reach and followers.

Qualifications

• You are studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or similar, preferably in your final semesters.
• Social Media is your home: You are always at the cutting edge, know what's currently performing with other brands, and continuously bring your own creative ideas from it.
• You are data-driven: In the end, what matters to you is what performs, not just what looks good. You focus on formats with the best numbers, derive learnings from every test, and make Social Media more predictable step by step.
• You speak fluent German (min. C1), as community management and German trends are our focus.
• Nice to have: You have already built your own account. Show it to us!
• Initial experience with editing and design tools like CapCut or Canva is a plus.
