About Us

Goldschmiede Markus Engert is a family-owned gold and silversmith in the heart of Würzburg. In our workshop, jewelry and sacred art are created by hand. We combine traditional goldsmith craftsmanship with modern ideas and want to further develop our digital presence. For this, we are looking for a motivated student who wants to gain practical experience in social media marketing as part of a mandatory internship.

Your Tasks

During your internship, you will actively work on the real social media presence of our goldsmith studio and gain a realistic insight into digital marketing:

• Development and further development of a social media content strategy

• Creation of content (photo, video, text) for our existing social media channels

• Showcasing our jewelry and sacred works, as well as insights into the workshop: from the initial design to the finished piece

• Planning, scheduling, and publishing posts

• Analysis of post performance (reach, engagement, etc.)

• Contribution to the establishment and consolidation of a consistent social media presence

• Contributing your own ideas and creative approaches

You don't have to be in front of the camera. The focus is on our craftsmanship and our pieces. If you enjoy being in front of the camera, it's a plus, but not a requirement.

Your Profile

• You are an enrolled student and must complete a mandatory internship as part of your studies

• Suitable fields of study include, for example:

• Communication or Media Studies

• Marketing, Business Administration with a focus on Marketing

• Digital Media, Media Management

• Design, Online Marketing, or similar fields of study

• Ideally, you are studying in Würzburg or the surrounding area

• Interest in social media, digital trends, and brand building

• A sense of aesthetics and a passion for jewelry, craftsmanship, and art

• Basic knowledge of tools like Canva is advantageous, but not a prerequisite

• Interest in photography, especially product and detail shots, is welcome

• Independent, reliable, and creative way of working

The Internship

• Duration: typically 1 to 6 months (depending on your university's requirements)

• Type: Mandatory internship (unpaid)

• Location: Würzburg, Domstraße 18

• Start date: by arrangement
