Praktikum in the Field of Kunststofftechnik & KI-based Process Optimization

We at plus10 are developing with Hopper a KI-based software for optimizing injection molding processes. Our solution analyzes production data in real-time and generates automatic suggestions for reducing scrap and cycle time.

Our international customers are using Hopper directly in production – from Automotive to MedTech. We combine deep process understanding in injection molding with modern data analysis and Machine Learning.

Aufgaben

Your Tasks

• Support in the development and validation of KI-based optimization approaches (e.g. parameter recommendations)
• Definition and further development of new use cases and features for our KI-based optimization tools
• Planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments on injection molding machines. Together with our customers and application partners
• Collaboration in the introduction of our software solution Hopper to the customer (Testing, training, integration)
• Coordination with customers and passing on requirements to our product team
• Support in building training materials, best practices, and internal tools

As a fully integrated part of our team, you will work on real machines and data sets and receive direct feedback from production. You combine Kunststofftechnik with data analysis and develop practical solutions for automated process optimization.

Qualification

Your Profile

• Ongoing studies in Kunststofftechnik, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Technology, or a comparable field
• Fundamental knowledge in the field of Kunststoffverarbeitung / Spritzgießen
• Basic understanding of process optimization / experimental techniques (DoE)
• Analytical thinking and interest in data-driven solutions
• Experience in a technical environment (e.g. laboratory, production, internships)
• Structured and self-reliant working style
• Very good German and English skills
