Praktikum / Hiwi in the Future Robotics & KI Area (m/w/d)

The INC Innovation Center is an international one-stop-shop for the development and implementation of technology-driven innovations. At six global locations, we accompany companies from idea to market-ready products and services.

In the framework of our international Future Robotics activities, we offer engaged students the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the field of robotics, artificial intelligence, and digital business models as part of a practical training or master's thesis.

Tasks

• Participation in technological and strategic analysis of current trends in the field of robotics (e.g. humanoid, collaborative, and modular systems)
• Support in defining and evaluating use cases for robotics applications in industry, logistics, or service sectors
• Participation in validating and implementing prototypes (e.g. integration of AI systems or sensor solutions)
• Accompaniment of hands-on projects in the INC Applied Robotics Hub (testing, evaluation, documentation)
• Research on global robotics markets, technologies, and relevant start-ups
• Participation in workshops and study trips (e.g. Europe, China, USA – depending on project phase)
• Support in concept development and documentation for pilot projects and customer presentations
• Optional: Development of a master's thesis on topics such as technology evaluation, prototyping processes, supplier fit analysis, or business model validation

Qualification

• Studies in economics engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, computer science, innovation management, or comparable programs
• Interest in robotics, AI, and digital business models
• First experiences in technology analysis, product development, or research are advantageous
• Analytical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary thinking
• Self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented work style
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking
