Job description

WE DO is a privately owned communications agency with 30 employees at its locations in Berlin (headquarters) and Hamburg. Under the motto "Sustainable Communication with Content and Attitude," the team develops innovative and interdisciplinary communication measures in the areas of Strategy, Consulting, Content, Digital, and Events.

From September 2026, we are looking for an intern for at least 3 months to support our Content Team at the Berlin location, ideally as a mandatory internship as part of your studies or training.

Responsibilities

  • You will work as a fully integrated member of our Content Team on the development, planning, and implementation of video and social media formats – from the initial idea to publication.
  • You will research topics, develop creative approaches, and prepare content in a target-group-oriented manner for various social media channels.
  • You will be involved in the production of short videos, Reels, and Stories – both in front of and behind the camera – and will assist with shooting, editing, sound design, and subtitling.
  • You will create text drafts for social media and develop suitable hooks, captions, and calls-to-action.
  • You will monitor trends and platforms, assist with editorial and community management, and create graphical content such as carousels, statement posts, and graphics.
  • You will assist with research, the evaluation of communication measures, as well as source and image rights verification, presentations, and production organization.

Qualifications

  • You are pursuing a degree or a relevant vocational training or further education, ideally in the fields of Communication, Media, Journalism, Film, or Design, and have a strong interest in video, social media, and socially relevant topics.
  • You have initial experience in the production and editing of videos, for example with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve. Knowledge of subtitling tools, basic motion design, or image editing – for example with Photoshop or Canva – is an advantage.
  • You have a good sense for visual language, dramaturgy, timing, and target-group-oriented communication, are familiar with current social media trends, and enjoy experimenting with new formats and platforms.
  • You are a confident and enthusiastic writer, handle facts and sources carefully, and ask questions when in doubt. You work in a structured, independent, and reliable manner, maintain an overview, and enjoy teamwork.
  • You have excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, are familiar with MS Office, and are open to occasionally appearing on camera yourself.
  • You are interested in Jewish life, antisemitism, and remembrance culture, or possess particular sensitivity towards these topics. Prior knowledge is desirable but not a prerequisite. You don't need to have everything – curiosity and a willingness to learn count more than a perfect checklist.
