Your Mission:

In the context of an internship at Preventicus GmbH, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the topic of Software Testing in the areas of Web, Mobile, and Wearables (Smartwatches). You will learn software testing based on specifications. After successfully completing the internship, there is the possibility to create a thesis for a Bachelor/Master or also stay on as a work student for a longer period.

Tasks

• Supporting the QA team in ensuring the quality of Web and Mobile applications
• Creating, maintaining, and executing test cases within functional, system, and regression tests
• Developmental testing of B2C and B2B products in the area of mobile and web-based applications
• Independent collection, processing, and maintenance of tickets in Jira
• Creating requirement and test case reviews as well as test reports
• Supporting the implementation of automated functional tests
• Collaboration with the development team to identify error effects and support root cause analyses

Qualification

• You are a student of Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable study programs
• Interest in test-driven software development
• Techical understanding of the processes involved in automated tests
• Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Git, JIRA
• Communication skills, motivation and a high degree of self-initiative
• Structured and methodical working style
