About this position

Are you interested in starting your career in Financial Advisory? Are you close to completing your studies and looking for an exciting, varied, and educational internship? Then become part of Forvis Mazars and strengthen our team as an Intern M&A / Transaction Services for a duration of 6 months (start date: November 2026 or by agreement, with an option for subsequent permanent employment).

Your responsibilities

• You will actively support our team in national and international M&A projects on the buy and sell side (e.g., in the preparation of information memoranda, teasers, identification of potential buyers, and search for suitable target companies).
• You will participate in business valuations in various transaction contexts.
• You will assist with financial analyses of companies and with the preparation of client presentations.
• You will actively work on Financial Due Diligence projects on the buy-side as well as Vendor Due Diligence mandates.
• You will assist in the preparation of offers and participate in various business development activities.
• You will interact with our local and international clients from diverse industries.

Your profile

• You are close to completing a Master's degree in Corporate Finance or a comparable Master's degree with a specialization in Finance (University of Applied Sciences or University) and have sound knowledge in business valuation, financial modeling, accounting, and financial analysis.
• Ideally, you have already gained initial professional experience in a trust, consulting, or auditing firm.
• You have fluent German and English skills as well as very good French skills.
• You are proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• You are interested in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Corporate Finance.
• You convince with your strong team and communication skills as well as your independent, flexible, and committed way of working.
• Even in hectic situations, you work carefully, are solution-oriented, and keep an eye for detail.
