We are looking for someone who understands technology and has a desire to help build a young tech company. At AICORN, we develop the control unit for the Digital Automatic Coupling (DAK). The system changes the European goods traffic. As an intern, you will work at the interface of engineering, KI tools, and product development. Tech is the basis. Topics like market, stakeholders, and strategy come on top because you are interested in them, not because they are your area of study.

What to expect:

• Code & Tooling: you build small tools, scripts, and test automation that take work off the team. Sometimes directly at the product code, sometimes in our internal engineering stack.
• Requirements & Specification: you structure and sharpen product specifications. Cleanliness, completeness, and consistency are your standard.
• Test Cases & Quality: you derive test cases from specs and automate where possible. Test generation and structuring accelerate with modern tools.
• KI Toolkit for internal workflows: you work with modern KI tools (Coding-Agents, Research-LLMs, Doc-Assistants) for our internal engineering and market workflows. Customer data are handled strictly NDA-compliant and exclusively in controlled environments, not in public models.
• Research & Market: you build stakeholder maps, competitor analyses, and standard overviews. Sparring partner for CEO and product lead on product-market-fit questions.
• Customer Material & Demos: you support demos, pitch material, and technical documentation for customers and partners.

Qualification

This fits you if:

✅ You program (Python is standard, other languages are okay), read foreign code without panic, and know how software systems interact.

✅ You are in a running study of computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, mechatronics, business informatics or a comparable technical field (from 3rd semester).

✅ You use KI tools daily. And notice what really makes something productive and what is just marketing buzz.
