Praktikant:in energetic Simulation and Balancing (m/w/d)

We are developing digital solutions for building energy efficiency and want to make a measurable contribution to climate protection. For the summer semester 2026, we are looking for an intern who will further develop our calculation kernels for energetic simulation and balancing and actively work on real projects in the building sector. Our location is centrally located in the Stuttgart inner city.

Tasks

• Conducting energy balances and energetic simulations of real buildings
• Further developing our existing calculation kernels (currently based on Excel)
• Supporting the expansion of a tool for evaluating the integrability of renewable energies for municipalities (PV considerations, heat pump readiness etc.)
• Collaborating on optimizing business processes for energy consulting
• You will actively contribute to the energy transition through your work

Qualification

• Pasión for energy transition, building simulation, and digital models
• First experiences in energy technology, thermal building modeling, or energetic balancing (DIN V 18599) are a plus
• You are enrolled in a technical study program (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, energy-, building and environmental technology, architecture)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team spirit and communication skills
