Intern as LLM / RAG & Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

We develop AI-based solutions that are used for operational staff, training, and education, and support sustainable competency development.

Responsibilities

• You develop AI systems consisting of LLM, RAG, databases, parsers, digital avatars, and individual Python functions
• You systematically analyze retrieval quality and usability and optimize them independently
• You use generative AI for Vibe Coding to quickly implement high-quality software
• You develop pipelines and models in Python and ensure quality through a sophisticated test concept
• You support optimizing the pipeline architecture
• You participate in short team meetings and work closely with various departments.

Qualifications

• You are studying Computer Science, Data Science, Geo-Informatics, or a related field.
• You have experience with Python, Cursor or VS-Code, and GIT
• You are interested in LLM, RAG, and digital avatars
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.
• Ideally, you bring initial GitHub projects, commits, or your own repositories.
• You are eager to take responsibility and try out new technologies.
• You have very good German and English language skills.
