Praktikant / Visiting Analyst - adesso ventures

adesso ventures is a Venture Capital Fund located in Berlin. We focus on Pre-Seed and Seed Investments in Europe and are looking for the most ambitious software enterprise founders. You will be an integral part of the investment team at adesso ventures, gain insights into the entire investment process, and build your network within the startup ecosystem in Europe. You will learn to analyze business models, markets, and trends and meet the most exciting startups and founders.

Tasks

• Eigenständiges Sourcing von neuen Startups
• Participation in and independent conduct of initial conversations with founders
• Inhaltliche Unterstützung bei Due Diligence Aufgaben, wie bspw. Markt- und Wettbewerbsrecherchen, finanziellen Analysen etc.
• Representation of adesso ventures at startup conferences and events as well as networking with founders and investors

Qualification

• Advanced degree in economics, IT, or a comparable field

• First experiences in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, or the startup environment

• High interest in the startup scene and a general understanding of how venture capital funds work

• Fast comprehension and high performance readiness

• Teamwork ability, high motivation, and self-initiative

• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking

• Full-time (at least 4-month internship)

• Starting from September

• In Berlin (fully remote not possible)
