Kijimea – From Research. For Your Life. Since our founding in 2011, we have pursued a clear vision: We want to specifically utilize the potential of the microbiota (bacteria) in our gut for a longer and healthier life – for everyone.

We achieved a first major milestone on this path as early as 2013 with the discovery and clinical research of the unique bacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75 (Kijimea Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Since then, we have been able to noticeably improve the lives of millions of irritable bowel syndrome patients worldwide. Today, B. bifidum MIMBb75 is one of the most researched bacterial strains worldwide. Its effectiveness and unique mechanism of action have been proven and published in numerous clinical studies – including in renowned journals such as The Lancet.

We collaborate with leading research institutions such as Charité Berlin to investigate the connections between the microbiota (bacteria in our gut) and allergies, skin diseases, and psychological disorders. In short: we are researching how the bacteria in our gut influence a longer and healthier life.

Your Mission With Us

Do you want to learn in one of Europe's fastest-growing healthcare companies how to plan, implement, and scale successful online campaigns? Then you've come to the right place!

We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) in the field of push marketing, starting immediately for at least six months, to actively support our marketing team – from developing innovative campaign ideas to data-based evaluation of their performance. With us, you will work alongside an experienced team of online marketing experts to make our brand Kijimea – already one of the leading probiotic brands worldwide – the global market leader through targeted online marketing.

Your Tasks

• You will support us in planning and executing our push marketing activities (Native, Meta – Facebook & Instagram, etc.).

• You will assist in developing campaign ideas and analyzing their results (e.g., reach, engagement, ROAS). You will keep an eye on current social media trends and contribute new ideas for future projects.

• You will regularly monitor competitor activities and analyze their online marketing strategies.

• You will prepare ad-hoc analyses, conduct comprehensive research, and support the team with other operational tasks.

Your Profile

• You are currently studying Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, (Business) Mathematics, or a comparable field of study.

• You can strengthen our team as an intern (m/f/d) for at least five months – ideally as part of your practical semester.

• You have an affinity for online marketing, especially for social media.

• You possess a structured and data-driven work approach and a very high level of conscientiousness.

• You have business-fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and fluent English language skills.
