Intern (m/f/d) – M&A & Buy-and-Build

You will gain exciting insights into M&A, Private Equity and Buy-and-Build strategies and be actively involved in our investment activities. From identifying potential targets and further developing our deal pipeline to analysis and valuation, you will work closely with the management team of our Buy-and-Build platform and our investment team.

• Direct support of the team in the entire investment process of medium-sized private equity and M&A transactions
• Identification, screening, and support in approaching potential acquisition targets within the framework of the Buy-and-Build strategy
• Participation in the modeling of investment scenarios, financial models, and company valuations
• Independent execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses in the context of due diligence of potential acquisition targets
• Maintenance and further development of a qualified deal pipeline as well as participation in the entire M&A and Buy-and-Build strategy process
• Creation of market, competitor, and company analyses as well as preparation of decision-making bases

• Student (m/f/d) of a Bachelor's (from 4 completed semesters) or Master's degree program in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields of study
• First practical experience in Private Equity, Corporate Finance, M&A, or management consulting
• Confident demeanor, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
• Operational strength, quick comprehension, and the ability to recognize economic and technical interrelationships
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
