Intern (m/f/d) – M&A & Buy-and-Build

You will gain exciting insights into M&A, Private Equity, and Buy-and-Build strategies and will be actively involved in our investment activities. From identifying potential targets and further developing our deal pipeline to analysis and valuation, you will work closely with the management team of our Buy-and-Build platform and our investment team.

• Direct support of the team in the entire investment process of mid-sized private equity and M&A transactions
• Identification, screening, and support in approaching potential acquisition targets within the framework of the Buy-and-Build strategy
• Involvement in modeling investment scenarios, financial models, and company valuations
• Independent execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses as part of the due diligence of potential acquisition targets
• Maintenance and further development of a qualified deal pipeline as well as involvement in the entire M&A and Buy-and-Build strategy process
• Creation of market, competitor, and company analyses as well as preparation of decision-making bases

• Student (m/f/d) of a Bachelor's (from 4 completed semesters) or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields of study
• Initial practical experience in Private Equity, Corporate Finance, M&A, or management consulting
• Confident demeanor, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
• Operational strength, quick comprehension, and the ability to recognize economic and technical interrelationships
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
