Intern M&A (m/f/d) Q1 2027

Sancovia is an owner-managed, expanding European M&A and Corporate Finance group with over 80 employees at eleven locations. We advise medium-sized companies on company acquisitions and sales as well as on Buy & Build strategies. With us, you will work on challenging transactions in an international environment and have the opportunity to take on responsibility early on. You will work closely with experienced M&A advisors, gain comprehensive insights into the entire transaction process, and further develop your professional and analytical skills.

For our team, we are looking for interns (m/f/d) in the field of M&A for our Frankfurt am Main location for Q1 2027, for the period of 01/06/2027 - 03/31/2027. Deviating periods will not be considered.

Tasks

• Preparation of process documents (Information Memorandum, Management Presentations, etc.)

• Active participation in acquisition activities to win new mandates

• Conducting financial and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, CoCos / CoTrans)

• Independent market and company research

• Support in the preparation of data rooms and the management of due diligence processes

• Analysis of financial data and appealing presentation of analysis results

• Working with databases

• Participation in client meetings, including preparation and follow-up

Qualifications

• An aspiring or current graduate in Business, Humanities, or Social Sciences, or a comparable degree program with an interest in business-related contexts

• Ideally, prior practical experience in Corporate Finance, Management Consulting, or Auditing

• Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent German and English skills at C1 level

• Teamwork ability and enjoyment of project work, analytical thinking skills, high willingness to perform, flexibility, and communication skills

• Affinity for the technical preparation, processing, and evaluation of data
