M&A Intern (m/w/d) from Q1 & Q2 2027

The Sancovia is an independently owned, expanding European M&A and Corporate Finance group with over 80 employees at eleven locations. We accompany medium-sized companies in corporate acquisitions and sales as well as buy-and-build strategies. With more than 250 completed transactions, we count among the most successful Corporate Finance companies in the DACH region.

You will work on challenging transactions in an international environment and have the opportunity to take on early responsibility. You will work closely with experienced M&A advisors, gain comprehensive insights into the entire transaction process, and develop your professional and analytical skills further.

We are looking for interns (m/w/d) in the M&A department at our Frankfurt am Main location for a period of three months starting from Q1 & Q2 2027. Applications for other time periods cannot be considered at this time.

Tasks

• Preparation of process documents (information memoranda, management presentations etc.)
• Active participation in acquisition activities to gain new mandates
• Conducting financial and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, CoCos / CoTrans)
• Independent market and company research
• Support in creating data rooms and managing due diligence processes
• Analysis of financial data and presenting the analysis results
• Working with databases
• Participation in client meetings including preparation and follow-up

Qualification

• (upcoming) Graduate in economics, social sciences or a comparable field with interest in business connections
• Ideal candidate already has first-hand experience in Corporate Finance, management consulting or auditing
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power Point
• Excellence in German and English on C1 level
• Teamwork ability and enjoyment of project work, analytical thinking, high performance willingness, flexibility and communication skills
• Affinity for technical processing, processing, and evaluation of data
