About the Opportunity An exciting full-time role is available in a mixed billing practice located 30 mins west of Melbourne. This practice is currently offering a Practice Nurse position, ideal for Nurses looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. About the Job: This role provides comprehensive clinical and patient care services within a general practice setting, working collaboratively with medical and allied health staff to support high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients and their families. • Work closely with General Practitioners (GPs) and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. • Conduct routine checks, take blood pressure, perform ECGs, and administer vaccinations as required. • Participate in the development of individualized patient care plans. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations and treatments. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care. • Provide support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting health education and self-management. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of conduct. Requirements: • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification. • Minimum 2 years' experience in a general practice setting or related healthcare environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
