About the role

A well-established, family-focused health organisation with multiple clinics across Auckland is seeking a Practice Nurse to join its team. With almost 30 years of experience delivering health, education and social services, the organisation is highly regarded in the community and has received industry recognition for excellence in general practice.

In this role, you will deliver high quality, accessible primary health care nursing services across four South Auckland clinics. Working closely with GPs and the wider primary health care team, you will support patients to achieve positive clinical and non-clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver primary health care nursing services to a diverse patient population
  • Support patient interventions and treatment planning
  • Work closely with GPs and the broader primary health care team
  • Triage patients and manage long-term conditions
  • Provide wound management care

Skills and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Current Vaccinator and CPR Certificate
  • Competent in Medtech Evolution and Best Practice Intelligence
  • Experienced in triaging patients
  • Skilled in venepuncture, including blood tests and IVL insertion
  • Experience in wound management
  • Confident managing long-term conditions
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence
  • NZ Residency or Citizenship required
  • Primary care experience preferred
