Job description
We’re looking for a skilled Practice Manager to lead and oversee the efficient operation of one of our sites (or potentially across both, depending on candidate capacity). The right person will have strong administrative, leadership, financial, and people-management skills, plus experience in medical practice settings. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations: patient flow, staff rostering, clinic systems, billing, compliance, and standards. Leadership of clinical and administrative teams to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, quality assurance, and risk management. Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, motivation, and job satisfaction. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, staff, and external partners. Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth, innovation, and process improvement. Ensure the site is well-equipped to meet changing healthcare needs and regulatory requirements. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of medical practice operations, including patient flow, billing, and compliance. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience working in a general practice or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial. A high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism is required.
