Practice Manager

We are a busy GP clinic seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. This role is offered on a part-time basis, however full-time may be considered for the right candidate.

• Manage daily operations of the medical centre
  

• Oversee and support reception and nursing staff
  

• Ensure smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling
  

• Manage rosters, timesheets, and leave planning
  

• Oversee billing, Medicare claims, and financial reporting
  

• Ensure compliance with health regulations and accreditation standards
  

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
  

• Liaise with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
  

• Previous healthcare industry experience is essential (general practice experience highly regarded)
  

• Advanced expertise in medical billing systems and Medicare claims
  

• Strong organisational and leadership skills
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Proficiency with Best Practice software (preferred)
  

• Must hold full Australian work rights at time of application
  

• Hourly rate: $40 – $42 depending on experience
  

• Supportive team environment with doctors, nursing, reception, and allied health
  

• Flexibility: part-time role, with scope for full-time for the right candidate
