As a Practice Lead Media Data Consulting & Solutions (m/f/d) Austria & Switzerland, you will shape the digital future of our clients and the group. You won't just manage, but actively drive growth: You will lead a highly qualified team of experts, connect client and team interests, and establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor who translates complex data and AI potentials into measurable business value.

• Strategic Development & Team Building: You will shape the growth strategy for the Data Consulting & Solutions area in AT & CH. You will bring together our existing subject matter experts into a cohesive, high-performing unit, strategically expand the service offering, and set clear impulses for sustainable success.
• Team Leadership & Internal Enablement: You will assume the disciplinary and professional leadership of a diverse team of consultants, data scientists, analysts, and engineers. You will foster a culture of excellence while simultaneously empowering our agency & client consulting teams on data, tech, & AI topics.
• Top Client Consulting & Executive Sponsoring: As a strategic point of contact, you will advise executives and decision-makers of our key clients on complex data, technology, AI, and analytics issues.
• Business Development & Partnerships: You will be responsible for establishing and expanding strategic partnerships with leading technology, data, and clean room providers.
• Product Development & WPP Open: You will develop a market-leading service and product portfolio (e.g., Data Collaboration, First-Party Data, and AI Consulting) by proactively leveraging our global platform WPP Open.
• Thought Leadership: You will represent WPP Media in the Data, Tech & Analytics field as a thought leader at industry events and in publications, driving forward-looking impulses.

What makes you stand out:

• Team & Structure Building: Demonstrable leadership experience in building diverse teams and in the organizational development of units (e.g., from digital agencies, media agencies, management consultancies, or comparable environments).
• Consultant & Entrepreneurial Spirit: Experienced consultant personality for discussions with senior stakeholders, a strong understanding of client needs, and success in scaling data-based consulting and service offerings.
• Strategic Thinking: Forward-looking mindset to identify partnership opportunities, market trends, and new growth areas early on and to align the service portfolio accordingly.
• Expertise in Data Strategy and the translation of data & AI use cases into business added value (First-Party Data, Data Governance, Analytics & Data Activation).
• Matrix & Communication: Confident navigation in complex matrix organizations, proactive utilization of global resources for local client requirements, and fluent communication in German and English.

We offer a gross annual salary starting from €100,000 (based on 38.5 hours) with the willingness to negotiate higher compensation.
