Looking for a long-term, stable role with variety—and the freedom to grow at your own pace?
This established accountancy firm in North London is seeking a capable Bookkeeper to play a key support role across a range of SME clients. You’ll work closely with the Partner and wider team, taking ownership of core bookkeeping and tax duties while becoming a trusted point of contact for clients.
You’ll be joining a genuinely down-to-earth team with a relaxed but focused approach to work. There’s no pressure to take on more than you want—but if you do want to grow, you’ll be fully supported to do so.

- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Supporting with personal and corporate tax returns
- Answering client queries and providing practical guidance
- Liaising with HMRC where needed
- Informally supporting junior team members and apprentices
- Around 3+ years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role
- Comfortable with VAT, tax, and general bookkeeping processes
- Confident using Sage (essential)
- Strong communication and client service skills
- A collaborative, helpful approach
- Salary: £28,000–£35,000 depending on experience
- Location: Harrow / North London
- Progression: Flexible, based on your own goals
