We are a company dedicated to the collection and processing of scrap metal, steel smelting, wire product manufacturing plants, and distribution centers. We serve various steel industries and markets with a presence in Mexico and in more than 20 countries in America and Europe, such as the United States, Canada, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Spain, and the United Kingdom. We envision sustainability as the guiding principle in operations, generating value environmentally, economically, and socially, and owning sustainable developments in advanced technology for steel recycling and its conversion into finished products, always complying with ASTM and other international quality standards. We are comprised of over 9,000 employees and have 21 Recycling Centers, 3 Steel Mills, 15 Finished Product Plants, 1 Research Center, and 26 distribution centers.

Are you passionate about technology, strategic project management, and the use of Artificial Intelligence applied to business? This is a real learning opportunity where you will be part of the digital transformation portfolio of the Steel Business Unit (key projects such as SAP S/4HANA, MES, and data platforms on Google Cloud Platform).

What will you do in your day-to-day?

• Jira Management and Follow-up: Board hygiene maintenance, status updates, and extraction of key portfolio metrics.
• Innovation with Generative AI: Support in the creation of executive dashboards and report drafts using generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini).
• Project Control and Visibility: Collection and comparison of monthly milestones vs. baseline, punctual follow-up of minutes, agreements, and action items.
• PMO Governance: Management of executive sessions (agendas, invitations, and minutes) and maintenance of current portfolio documentation (risk matrices, timelines, resources).

Profile we are looking for:

• Studies: Active student in careers such as Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Administration, or related fields (ideally in your 4th to 5th semester).

Essential Skills:

• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive reports.
• Curiosity and openness to learn how to use generative AI tools in a structured manner.
• Proactive, analytical attitude, and oriented towards continuous improvement.

Desirable (Plus):

• Notions or prior experience with Jira or other management platforms.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Looker Studio, or agile methodologies/PMBOK.
• Intermediate English.
