Power Electronics Hardware Engineer (Automotive | EV Powertrain)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design hardware schematics for automotive power converters and auxiliary modules.
• Conduct LTspice simulations to validate topologies, stress, and dynamic behavior.
• Perform Worst Case Analysis (WCA) and Root-Sum-Square (RSS) analysis for component derating and reliability.
• Define and execute test plans, including hardware module and integration tests.
• Select components, optimize BoM, and contribute to DFMEA inputs and design documentation.
• Collaborate with layout, firmware, systems, and validation teams to ensure tested hardware.

What You Bring:

• 3–8+ years of experience in power electronics hardware, preferably in automotive.
• Strong fundamentals in analog/power electronics, including magnetics and EMI/EMC awareness.
• Proficiency with LTspice and familiarity with tools like Altium.
• Experience with WCA/RSS methods and clear documentation skills.
• Nice to have: ISexposure, IATF/ASPICE environments, CAN/ISO-SPI interfaces.
