Job Title: Power Electronics Controls Systems Engineer Location: Fargo ND Duration: Long Term Job Description · Develop electrification control solutions at both component and system levels for a broad range of applications using a model-based design approach. · Evaluate control designs through analysis, simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, laboratory testing, and field testing. · Interface with stakeholders to develop control system requirements that support vehicle electrification and charging infrastructure development. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics controls into overall vehicle systems. · Develop and maintain technical documentation for power electronics controls systems. · Participate in design reviews and provide input on the feasibility of proposed designs. · Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure effective production processes for power electronics controls systems. · Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to power electronics controls systems. · Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners. · Provide technical support and training to internal teams and external partners on power electronics controls systems. · Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed. · Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to power electronics controls systems.
