Power BI Product Developer (m/w/d)

Loyos bi is a growing SaaS company from Hamburg. With our Financial Management- and HR Reporting Suite based on Microsoft Power BI, we transform complex business data into modern, visual insights.

We develop scalable reporting products for Finance- and HR-teams and think Business Intelligence consistently as a product – not as a project. Therefore, we are looking for you as an experienced Microsoft Power BI Developer (m/w/d), with at least 3-4 years of professional experience with Power BI, who will further develop our suite technically and elevate new product features to a professional level.

Your Mission

In this role, you will further develop our reporting suite. You will conceptualize, develop, and optimize scalable Power-BI-solutions that are in use by hundreds of customers at the same time. You will work not in consulting chaos, but on a clearly defined product core.

Tasks

• Product Development: You will develop new features and modules within our Financial- and HR-Suite based on Microsoft Power BI.
• Data Modeling, DAX, and UX/UI: You will develop and optimize efficient data models, set up high-performance DAX logics, and design modern dashboards, continuously improving reporting standards.
• Architecture: You will work on the further development of our technical architecture (e.g. ETL processes, Microsoft Fabric, PBI Dataflows, Warehouses, Lakehouses etc.).
• Quality Assurance: You will bring structure to development processes, test new features systematically, and support in building stable development standards.
• Collaboration: You will work not only closely with the product team and customer success together, but also exchange ideas with selected customers to realize new product ideas.

Qualification

• Experience: At least 3-4 years of professional experience as Power BI Developer, BI Developer, Analytics Engineer or comparable roles.
• Power BI Expertise: Very good knowledge in
  >Data Modeling & Data Architecture (e.g. ETL processes, Star -and Snowflake Schema, Relationships, Cardinalities etc.)
  >DAX (e.g. complex Measures, Time Intelligence, Performance Optimization)
  >Power Query / M (Query Folding etc.)
• Microsoft Stack: Experience with SQL, Azure, Power Automate etc. is advantageous
• Structure & Quality: You work clean, structured and with a high claim to maintainability and performance.
• Product Mindset: You think not in single solutions, but in scalable product modules.
• Communication: You can explain technical connections clearly and work gladly in an interdisciplinary team.
• Very good German knowledge in word and writing.

You don't have to master all the mentioned technologies perfectly – what's more important is a strong foundation in Power BI and the motivation to further develop yourself.
