About the Role The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to research projects focused on social innovation and community well-being, specifically within iwi, Māori, and Indigenous contexts. This role requires a strong research background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. Key Responsibilities Conduct high-quality research, including literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Prepare research reports, publications, and presentations. Collaborate with researchers, community partners, and stakeholders. Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications. Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences. Mentor and support postgraduate students. Skills and Experience PhD in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, public health, indigenous studies). Proven research experience, including publications in peer-reviewed journals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working with iwi, Māori, and/or Indigenous communities. Knowledge of social innovation and community development principles.
