Missions

Within the framework of the European ECS (European Compliance Stack) project, the work focuses on digital identity and digital identity wallets, aiming to address the issue of access control and access rights delegation. In the context of data spaces, attention will be paid to various dimensions, such as interoperability with different data spaces, the expressiveness of rights to satisfy the diversity of security policies, and, of course, the level of security.

Activities

• Design an innovative digital identity wallet solution covering authentication, authorization, and rights delegation aspects, which can be easily integrated into existing data spaces and used for data pooling across multiple spaces. For this purpose, we will refer as much as possible to existing standards and EuProConnect-type services. Business and citizen wallets will be studied, with particular attention paid to privacy preservation for citizen wallets.

• Develop the solution so that the prototype can be tested in an operational environment

• Manage meetings and interactions with partners

• Prepare meeting minutes and project progress reports

• Disseminate results in the form of publications in renowned journals or conferences, videos, posters, training courses, etc.

Education

• Doctorate or PhD obtained less than 3 years ago

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience

• Experience in cybersecurity and digital identity

• Programming experience

• Spoken and written English, as project interactions will be conducted in English

Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience

• Experience in blockchain and Hyperledger

Capabilities and aptitudes

• Interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels, listening and cooperation skills

Indicative remuneration:

• Indicative remuneration range (excluding variable annual bonus): 35,400-38,000 euros gross per year, depending on profile and experience (reduced social charges in the public sector).
