Job description

At Octopus Energy Services, we are realizing the energy transition directly in the field. Our teams work at individuals' homes to install photovoltaic panels.

Your tasks will be:

  • Carrying out installations: Installing fixing brackets, working with tiles according to their material, and positioning photovoltaic panels in accordance with provided plans and in compliance with current standards.

  • Safety and working at height: Fully securing the worksite with essential PPE/EPC. Use of lifting equipment.

  • Assistance with connection and quality control: Carrying out cable routing, performing the necessary connections for the electrician's work, and validating your interventions via an internal report to guarantee impeccable service.

  • Material management: Managing your material stock to anticipate needs and working closely with your teammates to ensure site efficiency.

  • Customer relations: Maintaining professional and educational contact with clients.


    • Profile sought:
  • Working at height is not a problem for you

  • Experience: Roofer with initial successful field experience.

  • Education: CAP, BEP, Bac Pro or equivalent in roofing. If you are a roofer but do not know the world of photovoltaics, we will be there to train you step by step.

  • Key skills: Mastery of standards, working at height certifications (Octopus Energy Services can assist you with renewal), and CACES is a plus.

  • Soft skills: Autonomy, rigor, team spirit, communication, and customer service orientation. You are looking for a supportive environment where your work is recognized.

    • Attached to the Amiens warehouse, you will be required to travel to Île-de-France, Hauts de France, and Normandy.

    Job benefits:

  • Remuneration: Salary package between €2300 and €2700 net per month (Includes: a 35h base, uncapped variable bonuses, meal allowances) → awarded based on performance and quality follow-up.

  • Travel: You will be required to work in a geographical area up to 2 hours away. In case of overnight stays, we prioritize 3-star hotels with a private room per person.
