Role Description We are seeking full-time, remote English ↔ European/Brazilian Portuguese interpreters to join our team. As a Portuguese Interpreter (OPI), you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services through OPI and VRI platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Provide accurate and timely interpretation services in Portuguese for various industries such as healthcare, customer service, social services, emergency, and legal; • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored interpretation solutions; • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry-specific terminology and concepts; • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices; • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation, or related field; • 2+ years of experience in Portuguese interpretation (OPI/VRI); • Strong understanding of European/Brazilian Portuguese language and culture; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Proficiency in technology platforms such as Zoom, Skype, and Google Meet.
