Portier - Doorman
Job description
Akelius acquires, improves and manages residential buildings in metropolitan cities such as New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Austin, Montréal, Québec, Toronto, Ottawa, London, and Paris.
We are looking for a doorman focused on customer service to be the ambassador and main point of contact for our property in downtown Montréal.
Requirements :
(Shift 2) Saturday and Sunday: from 16:00 to 24:00 - Old Port
(Shift 3) Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 06:00 - Peel Street

Language of work for permanent positions in Quebec
The knowledge of French is required for permanent positions in Quebec so that the holder can communicate as needed with colleagues and suppliers in Quebec. A French training program is offered to any permanent position holder in Quebec who does not have a good knowledge of French.
Other linguistic requirement
An additional language requirement is necessary for this position since the company has Francophone and Anglophone clients in Quebec, and this position must constantly use both languages to communicate with its clientele.

Requirements :
- Bilingual French-English (mandatory)
- A minimum of one year's experience in a similar role or customer service
- Schedule required as follows :
(Shift 2) Saturday and Sunday: from 16:00 to 24:00 - Old Port
(Shift 3) Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 06:00 - Peel Street
- The ideal candidate will be friendly, courteous, warm, and benevolent.
- Ensure that Akelius' policies and procedures for a high-quality service are respected
- Interact with all tenants and guests in a pleasant and professional manner
- Answer the phone at the entrance hall and handle calls
- Receive and process deliveries, shipments, mail, and packages entering
- Maintain the cleanliness of the entrance hall, main entrance, and workstations
- Aid tenants in carrying their groceries or packages
- Report any issues to Akelius' administration
- Communicate with tenants according to administration's indications
- Wear the uniform as specified by administration
